Elvis, Valentine’s Day and the Red Fox Inn

On this date, 55 years ago, Elvis Presley recorded “Heartbreak Hotel.” I’m dedicating today’s post in honor of that occasion. It is an image of the Red Fox Inn in historic Middleburg, which certainly wouldn’t be confused with the Heartbreak Hotel, but then again, Virginia is for Lovers! And love sometimes breaks your heart…. But just around the corner of the weekend is Valentine’s Day, so there’s always hope. And for that special day, the Red Fox Inn is offering a four-course dinner in one of their romantic dining rooms from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on both Saturday, February 12 and Monday, February14.
